Drinks for going out. Drinks for staying in. Pairing a wine with appetizers or a main. Make a cocktail for a little get together. Find a beer that suits you just right. Or leave out the alcohol all together and make a fun drink sans booze!
After visiting Deep Eddy, we got inspired with our own little idea. One part carbonated blackberry water; two parts Deep Eddy Ruby Red Grapefruit Vodka.
Yum!
Wild Cherry Sour! Wow!
That Tracks IPA. Crispy and citrusy!
Love the special cocktails they come up with using their vodkas! Texas proud and very refreshing!
Typically I prefer a good glass of red wine (Cabernet Sauvignon) or an IPA. But Kyle makes these really great margaritas, a copycat recipe from one of our favorite local Mexican restaurants. A good drink by a skilled mixologist can be intoxicating (OK, pun intended). But I'm not talking about the alcohol.
One of my favorite places to get a good drink is a downstairs speakeasy. It's moody, dark, classy and elevated. I particularly love the smell - I know, weird - which isn't even the booze. It's like leather and old books.
Grab a glass of your favorite drink - a martini, old fashioned, wine or beer, and let's make some drinks together!
